Therapeutic Process: What's it really about?

Therapy is a deeply personal journey, unique to each individual, which makes the way the process unfolds quite uncertain. This uncertainty can sometimes be unsettling, but then, what is certain anyway? The process seeks to gently navigate this uncertainty, creating a space that fosters insight, healing, nurturing, and care.

How do I know if therapy is right for me?

Therapy is beneficial for anyone seeking personal growth, emotional support, or coping strategies. You don’t have to be in crisis to start—therapy is for everyone.

How do I book a session?

You can schedule a session by email, phone, or online booking. Feel free to reach out for availability.

How long does therapy usually last?

The duration of therapy varies for each individual. It could last for a few months to a few years. It often depends on the meaning that the client assigns to therapy and the severity of concerns. Post termination, follow ups are scheduled as and when required. You will probably not get an answer to this question in the first few sessions.

How do I know if we are a good fit for therapy?

  • The therapeutic relationship is key to effective therapy. In our initial sessions, we’ll explore whether my approach aligns with your needs. If necessary, I can also help you find another therapist who might be a better fit.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations or rescheduling should be done at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a cancellation fee.
