A note to the visitor
Hi there,
I hope you have reached the right place!
Before you begin let's get into a little about therapy and my approach as a practioner.
Therapy is a dynamic process, and so is the idea of therapy. As you proceed and explore the different shades of yourself, you will also figure out the various shades of therapy. Through this practice, I hope to create a shared space of vulnerability where you feel safe to explore and reflect.
Who am I as a therapist?
As a therapist, I have been flexible in my practice, moving between a structured approach and a more intuitive, go-with-the-flow style. I am happy to navigate the therapeutic process in the direction the client determines, unless I or the client feel that a change in approach would be beneficial. My therapeutic style is eclectic, borrowing from Schema focused therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment based therapy, Existential and Narrative approaches. My approach is more explorative than directive and I believe that space, pause and revisiting are essential components of therapy making the process more meaningful and coherent.
I hope that through the access to this space, you are able to access and bring parts of yourself that might be unsettling or strengthening.
Therapeutic relationship between the two humans sharing this space is the most central to me and It's more important than any work or technique that we might exchange.
Therapy begins in the very first session itself. In the process if any assessments will be required. I'd inform you about the same.
Lastly, you don't have to reach an absolute space of self-destruction to begin. We can start wherever you are in your personal process of working through.
